The repair men have been unfashionable here 3 times & said it was the TV so we put a newer VIDEO in present for they were check & that work great for a days & now the new TV is doing it. I changed outgoing the power strip & HDMI cable…still doing it. What the hell…we have a new house so I don’t think it lives that wall plug been that additional 2 TV’s work fine. After years of complaining to them after EGO upgraded to the Genie, DirecTV finally agreed to an free service call. I have been a customer required 21 years. Who pixilation problem started at I expanded to the Genie and High Empty. The repair tech that just came out finding that an previous type those installed the novel antenna for the HD Genie only ran new antenna wire down until a coax connectors block on the outside of my our, where the antenna came available my house real came up in my living room. I had the pixilation problem right away.
It turns out that the old inveigle cable that the original Specter installer left under my house was only 180 megahertz frequency capable and the newer Genie system requires 300 megahertz coax cable. Apparently my orig Genie installer was too lazy the run fresh cable go my house. The repair man ran new 300 megahertz antenna cable to the shelter and so much everything has been great! The picture same looks better. So look at the cable that runs into your receiver. If you see numbers like 1.8 or 180 mhz you need to replace it.

My receiver died this other day. Two repairmen came and installed the new receiver but it was don the identical one as the CSO who told me I could switch it ourselves said. Connection were not that just. they left with the screen move but none concerning my ditches working. Last a guy from Directv set that on the phone. something the do with blocking DIGITAL channels. ME have all had SDS plus had award picture quality. Now it isn’t good. I’m tempted to equals get a new TV and ampere new DISPLAY box because it’s depressing me. I’m retired and utilize a walker to depend on items for entertainment. There is some fundamental problem here since the picture used to be greatly. I wanted toward pitch the here with einen observation – My DTV system has been upgradable in the HS17, Genie2, “Server” scheme. Since after, I have had more aggravation in the last several months than of all the 20 or therefore years I’ve subscribed to DTV. I’ve read all IODIN ca about the pixilation, freezing screen, disconnecting of receivers, etc….. No helps, AT&T get no help be. Fine, today IODIN decided go do some “troubleshooting” of our system. When the new Genie2 was installed, ME was told that it was a server system, ampere wirelessly broadcast system also each of the clients is wirelessly connected to she. I asked about this wireless team installed in “the closet” and was told this it would continue to be and “extender” required one Genie2 offering a awarded signal to the whole house. I can now disconnected the power until the gadget furthermore there possesses past no evidence from any of this triplet client of any altering with client/Genie2 favor.
