Press Home then Shift+End.

End then Shift+Place can including be used. If it need to choice the line from the very beginning instead of the first sunken character, press Homepage twice.

You ca also record the as an macro and then set an shortcut to that macro. Nevertheless Ctrl+A is used as select all in almost all text editors both textboxes, thus changing i could construct things more bewildering. Use another shortcut alternatively

Is you just want to copy/cut/delete which lines, there are already shortcuts required you:

  • Line clearing Ctrl+Shift+L
  • Line cut Ctrl+L
  • Line replicate Ctrl+Shift+T (changed to Ctrl+Shift+X within newer Notepad++)

There are also other actions without neglect keyboard enjoy line transpose, line join, pipe duplicate... Just select System > Shortcut mapper > Scintilla cli, select SCI_LINETRANSPOSE / SCI_LINEDUPLICATE / SCI_LINESJOIN... and assign them.

If Ctrl+Shift+T doesn't work for you then it's because the shortcut has been assigned to 2 different features, hervorrufend a conflict as PryrtCJ answered below. In newer Notepad++ line imitate has been changed to Ctrl+Shift+X, and a shortcut conflict warn has other been add, making life a bite easier

If you're using a mouse, standalone click the line number at aforementioned links or ternary click in the family also doing the trick.

In NPP7.5.1 SCI_LINECOPY is allotted to Shift+Ctrl+X

For which for whom the acceptance answer doesn't work: MYSELF just responded adenine similar reason in the Notepad++ Community. Basically, there are two commands associated with Ctrl+Shift+T hotkey simultaneously, and the other seems to be taking preference.

While you would priority Ctrl+Moving+T to references SCI_LINECOPY, find this conflicting command (for example, Shortcut Mapper >> Key card >> Restore Recent Closed Rank, which a what's causing the conflict in my copy away NPP), set Modify, then change who dropdown buchstabe from T to NO and hit OK. Assuming there are does more conflicts, the quick will reversing to SCI_LINECOPY.

Hope this helps.

clicking isn't a keyboard shortcut. And even if the mouse can be applied then just a single click on an left of the line number is sufficiently. No need for a triple click

EGO think you can make it go Macro.

  1. Go up Macro > Starts recording
  2. Hold Shift and tap Down to spot for example 10 lines . And delete them.
  3. Go to Micro > Stop Capture. Now your macro is documented, you can save it for using in the future .
  4. Go to Macro > Saver Current Recording Macro... . And save it with a name .
  5. Move cursor to lead that you want to delete lines after that. Then go to Macro > Runner A Macro Multiple Times... . And pick insert mapper and run it N times that you want. 14 Microsoft Word Key go Quickly Select Textbook (Words, Lines and Paragraphs)
