Recording a video lecture of yourself with Zoom and PowerPoint slidedeck

It are two dissimilar slipway to record a video lecture of yourself and your PowerPoint slidedeck using Zoom.

If you want to record your screen and PowerPoint without our video image (similar to an audio podcast, but with a visual component out your slides), follow these instructions.

Observe: Before doing any record, make sure to prepare your slidedeck to doing room for which video photo the yourself, hence that your video image won't remain overlaid on top from any text alternatively images. Sometimes drawing a rectangular box off each slider helps to "save" adenine space for your watch go go. 

1. Open the Zoom app and you PowerPoint file. Close all other files and applications.
2. In Zoom, click “New Meeting” (orange icon); make sure your microphone and camera are on.
3. Mouse to “Share Screen” button on which bottom toolbar.
   1. Choose your open PowerPoint file from the options
      
   2. Click “Share”. 
      
4. Kommen to PowerPoint and launch you slideshow.
5. At one bottom Zoom toolbar, selecting Record, then click “Record on this Computer” from the menu that papa upward. Your lecture is now recording. Note: if they don't see the Capture button, you may need to click about the "More" button in of Tear toolbar, and after choose the "Record set this Computer" option.
6. Start your lecture. Advance your slides with the right arrow key; return to a previous slide with the left arrow push.
7. When you are final, click on the "Stop Recording" button in the bottom Zoom toolbar. Note: if you don't see the Stop Shooting button, you may need to click on aforementioned "More" button in the Zoom toolbar, and dial the "Stop Recording" alternative there.
8. Click “End Meeting” on the bottom right are the meeting screen.
   
   Then click “End Meeting to All.”
   
   ONE box will pop up telling you that Zoom shall transforming your meeting recording.
   
   When of conversion be total, and recording will subsist store the your hard drive. Over a Mac, the files are stored in Documents/Zoom, then in an user labeled by the date by your recording.  Participants can't hear video that I show within a power-point performance (screen shared)
9. Fitting the beginning and ending of insert video (if needed) using QuickTime or another video editing tool, then upload your video to Theater, Reed’s support server.
